Let’s commemorate the patron saint of Ireland 🇮🇪 with the festive green colour. It doesn’t have to be with green beer!
I’m not Irish, nor do I have any Irish blood in my veins, but that doesn’t mean I can’t take part in the fun. Did you know that the shamrock is a piece of clover that is used as a metaphor for the Christian Trinity (the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit)? While we can dive right into the festive fun with all the regular leprechaun and, luck of the Irish type of fun, I prefer to keep it subtle and simple.
I usually try to incorporate more green foods into the day’s meals like:
- green grapes
- brussels sprouts
- green apple
… to name just a few!
Have fun with it! You can always set up a buffet-style dinner and have everyone sample a bit from all the different dishes. So go overboard with it. You can be a wee bit Irish.
