My Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie

Lately I’ve gone back to my “smoothie kick” and I have to say I’m loving it.  I find that it’s much easier to commit to it in the summertime only because your access to fresh fruit is that much easier.

Today I whipped up a blueberry oatmeal smoothie and … yum!

I thought I’d share it with you so you can try it too.

My Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie

Ingredients:

3/4 cup (175 mL) milk
1/2 cup (125 mL) frozen blueberries
1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
2 tbsp (30 mL) instant oats
1 tsp (5 mL) honey

Directions:

In blender, combine all ingredients. Purée until smooth.
