Save Your Sweaters #fallfashion #ChurchAndDwight #ad

Sweater season has finally arrived!  Once you complete your wardrobe switch (from summer to winter) and organize your closet you might want to review your fall and winter fashion.  Why?  Quite simply put, you can revamp your clothing and save money doing it.  By caring for your clothing you can stretch out its use.

Disclosure: I have been compensated to share this post. The opinions on this blog are my own.

Now is the time to check for loose or missing buttons, any loose hems, and even any missed stains.  You can easily reinforce loose buttons, and you can replace a missing button (or two)!  Actually, you can change all the buttons on any clothing item and even change the look altogether!

If you come across any loose hems you can quickly stitch it yourself.  It’s pretty simple to sew a few stitches and it really doesn’t have to be perfect either … unless you’re a perfectionist.  If you don’t know how to sew you can look up online how to do so.   By mending something yourself you avoid spending money at a seamstress.

Last, but not least, it might be helpful to do a “once over” to look for any dirt or stains.  It’s better to do the “once over” before packing away any clothing after each season; however, I like to be cautious and double-check just in case.  As the saying goes:  no harm no foul.

To keep your bright colours bright try using OxiClean Colour Shield Laundry Stain Remover and see how radiant your precious fall pieces stay.  I’m very happy with the results I get each and every time.

Stains aren’t always easy to get out.  Whites are especially difficult but that’s when I bring out the big guns!  OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover brightens my whites better than bleach!

I love white whites so being able to wear my whites longer makes sense to me.  This is exactly why the OxiClean family lines my laundry shelf; everything is at my fingertips so that I can take care of any (and all) stains.

So whether you restock, reuse, revamp, or recycle you can do so knowing that you have a selection of stain-fighters on your side.  Your clothes will be happy … and so will you.

Skechers Has Your Fall/Winter Fashion Boot and More #SKECHERSstyle #ad

I became a Skechers fan about 6 years ago, and since then my love for Skechers has only grown.  Not only has my love for Skechers grown for me but it has grown for others too. What I mean by this is, I have shared the love with friends and family and am happy to report that, once exposed to Skechers, they have all fallen in love with Skechers as well.

Disclosure: I have been compensated to share this post. The opinions on this blog are my own.

It seems an easy thing to say but; let me tell you, I would never share my love/passion for a brand unless it were genuine.  If you want comfort, quality, and style then you need not look any further because Skechers has it all! I mean it. We all have some kind of issue that we have to live with. My issue (other than my lower back) is long toes. Trust me when I say that it is difficult to find comfortable shoes for me … add-on quality and style and it’s almost impossible. I end up owning many shoes that don’t even get worn because they end up hurting me too much. What’s the point?Recently, my beloved friends at Skechers sent me two pairs of Fall/Winter Fashion Boots.

My daughter lucked out and received a pair of athletic shoes.

Women’s Descender – Andes

Outsmart chilly weather in style with the SKECHERS Descender – Andes boot. Soft water-resistant suede upper in a mid calf height lace up cold weather boot with faux fur lining and Warm Tech Memory Foam insole.Although I shared pictures on social media, I did take longer than usual to write about my experience mostly because I wanted to wait for the colder weather to arrive. I wanted to ensure my boots were warm so that I could share that finding with you. It turns out that both boots are amazing! Even with my back issue, I can walk for a long periods of time in complete comfort right from day one. I don’t have to ‘break in’ my boots. Actually now that I have experienced comfort from day one, it’s ludicrous to think that you should have to ‘break in’ your shoes! Why should you? It’s a relief to start wearing your shoes/boots right out of the box … no pain, no discomfort, and no blisters. That’s the way it should be; always.

Everywhere I go I end up getting compliments on my new boots. I am always proud to share that I’m wearing Skechers and that the person should try wearing Skechers too. I look good, feel good, and feel even better when sharing the fact that Skechers has the right footwear for all.

Don’t hesitate finding your Fall Fashion footwear. Whether it be a casual shoe, athletic shoe, or a boot, you are bound to fall in love with Skechers too.

Let me know what you discover!
