Join @Pantene in Celebrating National Donate Your Hair Day #BeautifulLengths #PGMom

On November 7, 2015, Pantene will celebrate National Donate Your Hair Day – an annual day of giving, encouraging Canadians to cut and donate their hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Donations to the program go towards the creation of real-hair wigs which are available at no cost through the Canadian Cancer Society to women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments.

Disclosure: I am a P&Gmom/mamanP&G. As part of my affiliation with this group I receive products and special access to P&G events and opportunities. The opinions on this blog are my own.

You can donate by making the cut on your own, through your local salon or by signing up to receive a FREE cut and style at BANG salon in Toronto on Saturday, November 7, 2015. If you, your friends, family are interested in making the cut at BANG salon please email pantenecanada@gmail.com. Appointments are limited so please confirm interest as soon as possible.

Can’t make the cut?

Pantene is now also giving those who are unable to donate their hair a new opportunity to provide their support. This year, Pantene is excited to be able to accept monetary donations where 100% of donations will go towards making more wigs than ever before. Join in National Donate Your Hair Day on November 22 with @Pantene #BeautifulLengths #PGMom

This year, National Donate Your Hair Day is Saturday, November 22 … You can support the cause by making the cut and donating your ponytail to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. All it takes is at least 8 inches of hair that isn’t permanently coloured or chemically treated and no more than 5% grey.  And it’s open to kids too!

Pantene Beautiful Lengths is a program in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society, built on the simple, generous act of donating a ponytail to create real hair wigs for women battling cancer.  These real-hair wigs are available at no cost to women across the country who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments.

If you live in Toronto, you can make an appointment at Shagg Salon (102 Scollard St., in Yorkville) for November 22.  Appointments are limited and are on a first come, first served basis between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  To make an appointment, please emailpantenecanada@gmail.com and the salon will contact you directly to confirm your appointment time.  In case you’re curious, here’s a sneak peek at the salon experience last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vnuL5CSvlk
