Get Great Skin #AdventuresAreGold #ad

Do you have skin that’s itchy?  Does it get painful?  You might need Gold Bond® Medicated Anti-Itch Cream.

For the longest time, I was curious about trying Gold Bond® Medicated Anti-Itch Cream but I thought “will I need a prescription?”  I’m serious, that’s what I thought! It turns out that you don’t.  It’s dry skin cream that can be used for temporary relief of pain and itching associated with minor:

  • Insect bites
  • Skin irritations
  • Scrapes
  • Burns
  • Cuts
  • Sunburns
  • Dry, itchy skin

Why would you use this product over a body cream?  Well, if you have an itch that’s targeted in one location then you wouldn’t need a body lotion.  In fact, with its dual medication formula you’re sure to get maximum pain and itch relief without a prescription.My Experience:

I recently tried it on my own areas of “severe itchiness” and was seriously surprised and thoroughly satisfied with the results.  I have dermatitis that usually just appears on my fingers [fingertips mostly], and it can get quite raw and painful.  Over the years, I’ve tried a variety of creams, and lotions both prescribed and not.  Very few options provided me with positive results, and those that did actually didn’t last for very long. It’s not surprising that I was reluctant to try Gold Bond®, but I tried it with an open mind.  To be sure of my results, I regularly used it for approximately 2-3 weeks, by applying it 2 or 3 times each day, and was beyond thrilled.  The pain from the rawness on my fingers was both soothed and relieved, and I could actually touch the affected areas!  What was even more surprising was that the results were long-lasting; I didn’t have to keep reapplying it to feel like I was protected.

Good to know about Gold Bond®:

  • Steroid free
  • Hydrocortisone free
  • Enriched with Aloe and Vitamin E to gently soothe irritated skin
  • It does what it says it will do

I’m so happy with my results and hope that if you’re feeling any type of itchy, raw, severe dryness, and even pain with your skin that you won’t hesitate to find relief with Gold Bond® because with Gold Bond® there’s no more discomfort!  I’m going to keep it in stock at my house; it’ll basically be my first-aid go-to lotion.

What do I say to you?  You have nothing to lose; it’s definitely worth trying.

Check out Ryobi’s Father’s Day Gift Centre at Home Depot between May 25-28

Any man can father a child.  Let’s face it, it’s the easiest part of becoming a father!  Taking on the role of “father” and actually being present in their child’s life, loving them, disciplining them, teaching them, etc. is what is difficult.  Dads are often overlooked, so why not remind Dad of your appreciation?

Can you imagine how many items off the “To Do List” could get done?  I don’t think there’s a job that Dad won’t be able to do.  It’s time to dust off those “To Do Lists” and possibly even write-up some more.  Boys with their toys indeed.  I know!  I know!  Dad will be beyond overjoyed!  Dad will be thrilled!  Just remember something Mom; while Dad is busy with his tool(s) you can enjoy a peaceful moment to yourself.  Dad can thank you later.

On a side note:  there may be some readers that will think that this post is ‘sexist’.  That’s not the intent; in fact, that’s exactly why I mentioned above “the father figure in your life.”  It’s meant to encompass step-fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, any person of the LGBTQQIP2AA* community … essentially, anyone that fills that father figure role.  Writing all these possibilities in every single sentence would interrupt the flow or how the sentence sounds.  Could you imagine?

“Happy Father’s, Dad’s, LGBTQQIP2AA’s, Father Figure’s, StepFather’s Day!”

It just wouldn’t roll off the tongue.  So that I can simply focus on appreciating that special person in our lives, I’ll stick to mentioning Father’s Day, Dad, and Father Figure.  I hope that’s understandable.

*LGBTQQIP2SAA stands for:
LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender)
Two Q’s to cover both bases (queer and questioning);
I for Intersex, people with two sets of genitalia or various chromosomal differences;
P for Pansexual, people who refuse to be pinned down on the Kinsey scale;
2S for Two-Spirit, a tradition in many First Nations that considers sexual minorities to have both male and female spirits;
A for Asexual, people who do not identify with any orientation; and
A for Allies, recognizing that the community thrives best with loving supporters, although they are not really part of the community itself.
