9/11 is a difficult date to ignore; not that I would want to. That day’s tragic events are forever engraved in our minds and hearts. Thoughts and prayers are sent out to all those impacted.
Disclosure: I have been compensated to share this post. The opinions on this blog are my own.
I’d like to share with you an awe-inspiring film starring Charlie Sheen and Whoopi Goldberg titled 9/11, based on the original play, The Elevator, that centers on the events of September 11, 2001.
No matter who you are or where you were, that moment and the aftermath is indelibly etched in everyone’s mind. I remember getting ready for the day, at work (in a financial institution) and freezing when the news came out of our little radio. As unlikely as it was, we were fearful of being a target … it didn’t take long to get instructions to close for the day. In reality, much of my life, around that date, continues to be a blur. I only remember feeling horrified while watching every single second of every bit of news! The film 9/11 is based on a true story and chronicles the lives of five average, everyday people who find themselves trapped in an elevator during the events of 9/11 in the World Trade Center.
“It’s a story about really honoring those that didn’t make… and those that did.” – Charlie Sheen
