Disclosure: I have been compensated to share this post. The opinions on this blog are my own.
I’ve been going to the CIAS since the mid 90s and I’ve loved attending each and every time. It’s fun, it’s exciting, and it’s fascinating to see cars from the past, present, and from the future (potentially). The Canadian International AutoShow is both the largest car expo, and the largest consumer show in Canada. There are more than 1,000 cars, trucks, SUVs, concept cars, exotics, classics, muscle cars, fully electric cars … certainly enough to tickle anyone’s fancy.
Media Preview Day was on February 14th and I was thrilled to be a part of it. The auto show has been around for 44 years; which means they’ve had time to perfect their head-turning, jaw-dropping exhibits. I must have shared at least 50 pictures on social media, and several live videos (using the above-mentioned hashtags) so you shouldn’t have any problems finding them. I certainly was excited to share everything with you but if you’re in the Toronto GTA, I highly recommend visiting the CIAS. You might need to allocate an entire day to allow yourself sufficient time to drool and linger. The CIAS features cars worth millions of dollars. For example:
- A Bugatti Chiron, which has a base price that starts at nearly $3.4 million
- A General Motors Le Sabre concept car valued at more than $15 million (US)
- A Pagani Huayra worth an estimated $2.5 million
- and many more examples waiting for you
Put an end to your curiosity; you know you want to. Take the entire family … oh, look at the calendar, Family Day is the perfect day and it’ll be here on Monday!
FYI:
The 2017 Canadian International AutoShow is helping celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday by showcasing Canadian collectors in each feature of the show.
