Let the @ChaptersIndigo Summer Reading Begin! #IndigoSummerReading

School’s nearly out – but at Indigo, reading is always in! I received a package of the very best kids’ books for summer and I happily shared them with children in my neighbourhood.  I also received a copy of the IndigoKids summer reading guide.  This year’s guide is themed Passport to Reading, you can click here to view the online guide. We hope it will inspire countless reading journeys to places near, far and even imagined!

Disclosure: I have not been compensated to share this post. The opinions on this blog are my own.

Reading over the summer is the best way to prevent the “summer slide” – a term that describes how kids’ reading levels often go down over the summer, simply because they get out of practice.  The ChaptersIndigo experts picked out the best titles for every stage of reader to help inspire a love of reading in your child and keep them glued to the page all summer long.

I think the ‘100 Things To Do Before You Grow Up’ is particularly exciting … there are many fun suggestions!
