Tide + Downy Odor Defense #MomsShopWalmart #PGMomGiveaway

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED

We all get busy, I’ll admit that I do!  Sometimes I allow my laundry to fall a little behind.  With a daughter in high school sports and a partner who drives for a living (sweaty in the summer is an understatement!), it’s not fun to come upon that forgotten laundry.  Stains have set in, and so have those nasty smells.

Disclosure: I am a P&Gmom/mamanP&G. As part of my affiliation with this group I receive products and special access to P&G events and opportunities. The opinions on this blog are my own.

Tide launched their new Tide + Downy Odor Defense Collection. With the help of Febreze in-wash odor defense technology, the Odor Defense Collection is a laundry regimen specifically designed to eliminate odors instead of just masking them. Each product in the Odor Defense Collection works at a different fiber level to break down dirt and body soils so smells don’t “rebloom” or come back.Rebloom is when your clothes start smelling moments after you put them on or start to smell even though you recently washed them. For example, when your newly cleaned workout clothes start to smell after only a few minutes back at the gym, or when your towels start to smell like mildew again the day after you’ve washed them (Yowza!).I especially can’t stand it when I forget the wet clothing I bring back from the beach in a plastic bag … or the wet towel and bathing suit my daughter brings me back from the swimming pool!

There’s a simple solution to this problem that plagues all of us, and it involves using these three products which can be found at Walmart:

TIDE PODS PLUS FEBREZE ODOR DEFENSE: This 4-in-1 laundry detergent pac cleans odors from fabrics while removing residue and surface stains. * Remember to keep laundry pacs away from children

TIDE ODOR RESCUE WITH FEBREZE ODOR DEFENSE: This in-wash booster deep cleans to remove dirt and odors that have gotten trapped down in fibers. Just add to your wash along with Tide Pods plus Febreze Odor Defense and Downy Fresh Protect with Febreze Odor Defense and let it do the heavy stain and odor lifting for you.

DOWNY FRESH PROTECT WITH FEBREZE ODOR DEFENSE: Downy’s motion-activated beads eliminate and combat odors while also sealing in the odor protection technology so clothes stay fresh all day long.

  1. My worst laundry odor is the smell of the towels if they are put in the hamper while they are still damp. It is very difficult to get out the sour mildew smell.

  2. Definitely the mildew cloth smell! The kids do not wring out the clothes very well and I often find them bunched up in the bathroom.

  3. My worst laundry odour was when someone wiped up milk and didn’t rinse off the dish cloth and throw it in the basement without telling me, by the time I found it I wanted to gag.

  4. My worst laundry odour is my dogs pee pads, because they’re not disposable. I make them myself (nursing homes or hospitals have) and get MANY uses out of them before you have to wash them, they’re so absorbent!

  5. My worst laundry odor would be if my daughters have a poopy accident in their diaper and get it on their bottoms. Also wet towels smell HORRIBLE

  6. Well some might say my pets smell is the worse odor I have to deal with (I like how they smell) I have four ferrets and they have a musky odor and like to “ferretize” the new laundry immediately by rolling in it, doing barrell rolls , etc

  7. My 6 year olds stinky socks! She has a bad habit of taking off her socks in whatever shoes she happens to be wearing and her sweaty feet make her shoes smell terrible! And any socks that go in her shoes after!

  8. I can’t stand anything musty or mildewy.. like when people leave their wet towels in a pile. YUK.
