There are so many creams, lotions, and potions out there and it’s hard to decide what is best sometimes.  What works for one person might not be as effective on someone else; which is why I always suggest to give the product a trial run to figure out if it’s good for you.

Disclosure: I have received the products pictured below to share this post. The opinions on this blog are my own.

Reversa recently sent me some samples to try.  For a while, they remained unopened because I was allowing my skin some time to heal before putting any type of product on it.  Once the sore I had completely healed, I felt reassured that I was as good as back to normal!

I love how all Reversa products contain non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and perfume-free ingredients; it makes them perfectly suited for all skin types.  Unlike the days when I was growing up, today we know it’s best to start taking care of your skin as early as possible.  Limit your exposure to direct sunlight and use sunscreen with broad-spectrum UVA and UVB sun filters to limit skin damage whenever you go out.  The Reversa line has SPF protection! Reversa keeps both quality and cost in mind.  This is the type of of skincare that I look for … expensive doesn’t mean quality.

Reversa is manufactured in Canada by Dermtek Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a company that established its scientific credentials by developing the widely acclaimed Ombrelle brand of sunscreen.  [Visit Reversa.ca to learn more.]  Knowing this fact alone really put my mind at ease with the thought of applying something completely new to me on my skin.

I tried the products that were sent to me for 2-3 weeks and loved how all of the Reversa products are oil free; that meant no greasy/oily feeling!  On the other hand, my skin didn’t feel dried out either!  The result was silky-smooth skin, that was bright, fresh, and clean.  Am I crazy to think that I look younger?  Nahhh.  Hmmm, maybe.  Do I have a favourite Reversa product?  I can’t say for sure, to be honest, because I haven’t tried them all.  I’ll confess that I’m inclined towards one product in particular:  the Reversa Corrective Night Cream.  It’s formulated to work through the night when your skin naturally repairs itself at the cellular level. It contains an anti-wrinkle peptide called MATRIXYL®SYNTHE’6TM which boosts the synthesis of 6 skin-rebuilding essentials, and glycolic acid to exfoliate and promote skin cell renewal, leaving your skin looking and feeling healthier and more youthful.  I’d wake up with my skin feeling rejuvenated.

I’m pleased with how none of the Reversa products irritate the skin (at all) so I can feel good about recommending them.  All Reversa products with glycolic acid feature the Time-Release Glyco-Comfort System™, a technological breakthrough that greatly reduces the risk of adverse reactions.

You don’t have to feel like you have to be brave about trying Reversa for yourself – I’ve done the hard work for you – instead, take comfort in the knowledge that Reversa products are sold in the skin care section of most drugstore chains across Canada (like Shoppers Drug Mart) so you can get one-on-one advice about which Reversa products are right for you.

  1. This sounds like a great product, it’s always great to have that extra little help with our skin, we’re not getting any younger, I should try this product out, the night cream I use now isn’t bad but it irritates my eyes even though I do not go near my eyes, thanks for the review!!
