Sybil and Betts – Requiem for a Friendship

Alzheimer Society of Toronto is hosting a screening to raise awareness about dementia and  awareness about the experiences of families impacted by the disease.

There are over 43,000 people in Toronto and over 747,000 Canadians affected by this disease. This means many of you could benefit from learning more about it and connecting with others in similar situations.

The film is called Sybil and Betts: Requiem for a Friendship. The film tells the story of two remarkable women and their lifelong friendship. However, when Betts is diagnosed with dementia, Sybil must rally friends and family together to protect and care for her best friend, putting a new twist into an old relationship.
