Weaving a continuous storyline, the television series works in tandem with the feature films and DVD specials, allowing fans to delve deeper into dragon lore. From the origin of Hiccup’s new flight suit and the secrets of his dragon blade to the young Vikings budding romance with Astrid, DreamWorks Dragons on Netflix gives viewers rich details of the larger narrative with the introduction of new dragons, exotic places and worlds unknown.Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera who voice the two young Viking heroes in the feature film return to the television series to voice Hiccup and Astrid, and are joined by Christopher Mintz-Plasse and TJ Miller who will reprise their roles as Fishlegs and Tuffnut in the series.

The DreamWorks Animation’s Dragons: Race to the Edge premieres on June 26th only on Netflix.

As a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam, I had access to access some episodes prior to its premiere date.  I can tell you that you (and your kids) will definitely enjoy Race to the Edge.

“Dragon Eye of the Beholder, Part 2”

Hiccup and the Dragon Riders journey to Glacier Island in search of the Snow Wraith, a fearsome dragon that holds key to the Dragon Eye’s mysteries.

“Imperfect Harmony”

The Dragon Riders discover a lush island that turns out to be the home of the Deathsong, a massive dragon that threatens to trap them forever.

“When Darkness Falls”

On an island that will make the perfect outpost, the Dragon Riders discover its indigenous residents are a mysterious new breed of dragon.

“Big Man on Berk”

Thinking he’s allergic to his dragon, Fishlegs gets hypnotized – and wakes up transformed into an invincible warrior known as Thor Bonecrusher.
