Barbie® Fashionista #SuperStyle Giveaway #BeSuper CAN 18/06

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED

While my daughter was growing up I always gave her freedom to express herself.  She was always a fashionista too, and still is.  It was the perfect way for her to discover who she was.  I just sat back and took it all in with a smile on my face.

Fashion and style have always been a creative form of self-expression and no one knows this better than Barbie®. For decades, Barbie® has used the latest trends from around the world to express herself and own personal style. This month, she’s encouraging little ones to #BeSuper by using their own #SuperStyle to show the world who they are inside.

One thing is for certain, little ones develop a strong sense of personal style at a young age. From mixing patterns to choosing bright colours and a variety of textures, children love to express themselves through theirstyle and fashion. Now, with the Barbie® Fashionista dolls, girls can take this one step further and use the dolls to outwardly express what makes them beautiful on the inside and showcase their uniqueness and individuality.

The line of Barbie® Fashionista dolls includes 23 uniquely-styled Barbies with eight different skin tones. To offer your little one even more selection, there are also 18 different eye colours and 22 hairstyles, all dressed in trendy, authentic street fashions!

This June, Barbie® is challenged a group of us to participate in a #SuperStyle challenge. The task was simple: to show us how our little one expresses themselves in their own unique way with their personal style! My daughter will always be my little one; however, she’s all grown up now.  Instead, I thought I’d share her favourite #SuperStyle outfit when she was little …

… a princess!  A princess she truly was.

  1. I have 2 boys and a little girl on the way any day now. I have to admit that my boys have a bit of a fashionista side to them as they are quite fussy about what they wear each day (usually must involve a superhero or some kind of Lego character). I have 3 little nieces (who I would love to win these dolls for) who are also quite the fashionistas. They love anything that resembles a tutu and have some fantastic princess outfits too. I am so excited for the hand-me-downs!

  2. I have absolutely no idea where my granddaughter gets her style from but she certainly knows what she will or won’t wear – and she’s only just 7 yrs old!

  3. my daughter gets her style from picking out her own clothes and accessories herself. Sometimes I am not sure what statement she is making but if she feels comfortable and likes it , that is fine!

  4. My daughter shows her own style by mixing and matching, be it her clothes, acessories, socks, laces, hair styles. As long as she is happy and confident i am happy.

  5. My daughters all have different tastes but since they are still quite young (4 year old twins and a 3 year old) I just let them choose items they are naturally attracted to, most likely because they like the colour. I bet once school starts that will all be over and theyll want whatever their friends have!
