What I Think:

I think Muse™ is a great way to take time for yourself; it’s time that I wouldn’t normally take.  My family has learned that when “Mommy has that thing on her head … that means she’s relaxing so leave her alone”!  For me it was difficult; at first, to learn to relax and calm my thoughts, and breathing right down.  Now, after just a few minutes each night, I am starting to actually feel a difference!

frames_62 You can see how April 6th was the day that I was most calm; that was my birthday and I did absolutely nothing around the house … could that be why? Hmmmmm?  I like how you can review your data and browse through your completed sessions.  It’s a good way to monitor how you’re doing.  I haven’t been fortunate enough with the birds (yet).  If you can calm yourself right down then you might even hear the bird sounds!  I’ve only heard them 3 times in the past 14 sessions or so.

I’m close to passing 5000 points.  You get awarded points at the end of each session; these points reflect how you’re doing each day.  When you finally reach 5000 points, you can finally go to the next level.  I’m not sure what the next level offers; however, I’ll assume guided meditation in different settings?  Who knows?  I’ll only be able to know once I surpass the 5000 goal.

  3. I think this would be great for me after a long day of chasing daycare kids but it also sounds like it would be really useful for my hubby who has ADHD and still finds concentrating difficult at times.
