Monday Mumblings – December 15, 2014

Yesterday, we had a little family gathering / Christmas party at the long-term facility where my mom is staying.

Everyone was invited to bring something to eat from their own culture, so there was enough food for all to eat … and then some!  Sweet and savoury – we had it all.

We had a visit from Santa and his elf, and we had an Elvis impersonator.  All the residents had a good time participating in little games; however, I’m pretty sure that it was the time spent with family that was much more appreciated.

  1. I’m glad everyone enjoyed themselves, I’m sure they all loved the Elvis impersonator, This is such a great thing to do, there is way to many senior homes were they just get forgotten about, so sad, loved your pictures!!
