TELUS Learning Centres are unique to TELUS in the Canadian market. Located in over 200 of our exclusive TELUS locations, the Learning Centres provide personalized, one-on-one training and guidance to customers with a TELUS Learning Specialist on how to get the most out of their phone.
Learning sessions are customized to individuals or groups needs and can cover basic usage through to extra tips and tricks for the most advanced user. Learning Centre sessions are complimentary and can be booked online or in store at any TELUS location.

Learning Specialists (LS) are expert-trained TELUS reps dedicated to providing customized learning sessions to our customers. A Learning Specialist is the in-store product guru for both the end customer and colleagues on the sales floor.
The LS additionally provides formal device training to sales reps as required. Our Learning Specialists are pre and post-sale product support experts solely focused on ensuring customers have a solid understanding of their device functionalities and features.
A Learning Specialist receives access to new devices early on and is provided with advanced Training from device manufacturers and internal TELUS learning teams.
To upgrade to the latest and greatest devices, customers will no longer have to wait until the end of their contract term to be eligible for a discount on a handset. Simply pay off your Device Balance and upgrade to a new phone whenever you want with anytime upgrades.

No Activation Fees
TELUS is committed to putting our customers first and being fair and transparent with all our customers, new and renewing. As part of this commitment, TELUS no longer charges a $35 activation fee for new customers or the $25 equipment exchange fee renewing customers are charged when they renew their contract and purchase a new device. TELUS is the first of the premium carriers (Rogers or Bell) to eliminate activation fees for new and renewing customers.
