Grocery Challenge

Have you had your greens today?  Really, I’m serious.

Perhaps it’s time to reconsider your diet?  A great way to add some much needed vitamins and calcium to your meals is by including some greens!  Yes, I mean green vegetables.  There are so many to pick from too.

Consider this “add to your grocery” challenge … if there’s one you haven’t heard of, why not try it?

  • Asparagus
  • Bok Choy
  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Broccoli
  • Cabbage
  • Celery
  • Collard Greens
  • Cucumbers
  • Escarole
  • Green Beans
  • Kale
  • Okra
  • Rapini
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Spinach
  • Swiss Chard
  • Tomatoes

Do some research, and find out what each of these vegetables can provide you.  There are many ways to enjoy them, so go recipe hunting too!
