This whole desire to visit the Toronto International Car Show started with wanting to surprise my partner with tickets, provided by P&G …. yet another reason to love being a PGMom!
Well my stop at the Febreze “Breathe Happy” booth at the Toronto International Car Show was both fun and informative.
The testing ground was a Volkswagen van dappled with various specimens of cold, well-aged fast food, well-used hockey gear, some rather uncomfortable lumpy pillows and the like. Road trip horror!
So I piled into the van and dared to inhale. Hey, this is pretty nice…considering.
That was my reaction to the Febreze CAR vent clip. Now, to be fair, I love this product and use it all the time, but I can’t say I ever tested it in this fashion. Here, in this mechanical petrie dish, I really could not smell the crud, and that was a good thing.
The Febreze CAR clip attaches to your heating/ac vent and goes to work when the vent is on. You can control the intensity with a top mount dial, which is handy if you need to crank it up for immediate relief from “wet dog smell” or ‘that’s where that piece of orange went” incidents.
The clip is designed to last 30 days with moderate use-longer if you use it just when you need to.
My Breathe Happy experience was Linen and Sky, but there are 3 other scents available including “New Car Smell. I was able to catch a whiff at the sample station and it does smell like new car …ahhh memories.
So, with my sample in hand, I was off to see some shiny cars…

I wish I had signed up way back when to be a P&G mom. I thought it was more geared to babies, not sure why I thought that…. now I am trying to get in. Looks like a fantastic opportunity from a brand we all use and love!
So glad you saw the auto show. I love going to the auto show but couldn’t this year. Always nice seeing some of the prototypes.
Never been to the auto show, will have to check it out next year!
