Tuesday Talk – January 29, 2013

Believe it or not, the end of the month is here!  This month has flown by so quickly.  Milder weather, lighter days, more sunshine … that might mean that winter is practically half way through.  So what lies ahead?  Hmmm, Valentine’s Day and then March Break … time to do some research and planning.  Don’t wait until the last moment; if you want to plan to dine at a fancy restaurant – you might want to start calling around to make your reservation for “lovers’ day”.  Want to have fun stuff to do during March Break?  Now is the time to put a plan together!

As for my family, we will not be doing anything, going anywhere, or seeing anyone.  My partner willbe working every day, and my daughter will be busy with her girl group (where she volunteers her time), and I’ll be busy completing my daily tasks: cooking, cleaning, and laundry.  Fun wow!  Gone are those younger, careless, fun days … I miss my youth.

Well, you can’t always have what you want, so, welcome February!

Will you be making plans soon? or Will you’ve leaving everything until the last minute?

    Plans for what??? LOL
Valentines, who knows what will happen… my hubby is probably working that day. I haven’t even bothered to look yet. March break is just another week to us too… no special planning for that.

I have a double whammy ….hubby’s birthday and Valentine’s day….5 days apart from each other. Normally I don’t fuss to much, but this year I think I’m going to plan a nice dinner out.

I have been “booked” for Valentine’s Day. My dh has told me I am not to accept any babysitting for Valentine’s Day as he is doing something special for me.
For spring break I am going to teach my two oldest granddaughter’s how to sew. We have already cut out two American Girl dresses that are now ready to sew for their dolls.
