Today, I’m exhausted and frustrated. Living with a partner that has a type A/OCD personality can be (and is) challenging, especially when being stubborn is part of that makeup. I have my work laid out for me. Another challenging aspect is when my daughter’s issues come into play! Whew; being in the middle (trying to keep the peace) is very difficult. In fact, just being in our household is utter mayhem … we are 3 Aries after all.
These past few days, we’ve been going through all that we own and getting ready for a massive yard sale, set for this Sunday (tomorrow). Good stuff, bad stuff, new stuff, old stuff … we pretty much have it all! We’re redefining what the word ‘downsizing’ means! Gail Vaz-Oxlade would be pleased, to say the least. I’m not sure how well we’ll do with the yard sale; however, the donation bin will be pleased at the end of the day. There are some items that have been, and will go back on Kijiji, of course, I rather that we do well at the yard sale!
What will be the result of this tremendous yard sale?! Hmmm, I’m not really sure yet. We may, or may not, end up selling the house and moving. We’re not sure; better yet, my partner doesn’t know yet. There are so many paths to take; who knows which one we’ll end up on?! Personally, I love the house we live in but understand that, financially, it may not be the wisest decision. Who knows?! I certainly don’t!!
