It seems Jasper has found himself a home … ours!

It wasn’t for lack of trying to find a place to take him; though, all shelters were full and weren’t taking in anymore strays.  I was surprised to discover this was true; in fact, 6 different shelters were completely full and each had waiting lists.

My daughter, and I, were quite happy with the results of all of those calls.  We can’t just ‘throw out’ an animal!  We can’t do the same thing that others have done already.  How people can bring themselves to abandon an animal is beyond me.  Seriously?!  How many little guys are suffering out there all alone, and scared?!  Poor babies!  If I could,  I would take all the abandoned cats and dogs in; the reality just isn’t as sweet.  It’s not enough to only give an animal food and water.  You need to care for their health and their well being, spent time with them, and give them love.

Jasper has lucked out.  See; everything happens for a reason.
