Monday Mumblings – July 30, 2012

So, as you know, I’ve been using PGX for the last little while and have noticed some changes already:

I feel satisfied with a smaller portion of food
I feel full for longer periods of time
I have less cravings, and have actually turned down chocolate!

I still feel hungry several times throughout the day; however, I’m not going to be hard on myself because you have to be patient while you increase the amount of PGX slowly to allow your body time to adjust to the increase in fibre.  The key thing to remember is to make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day.  For me, the best change is unhealthy food cravings vanish or are greatly diminished, making it easier for me to turn away from problem foods or choose healthier alternatives (lower in sugar, fat, and calories).

The PGX program can be a comfortable, long term way of life, rather than a “diet” you endure for a few weeks and then it fails you.  Once you have your blood sugar and appetite under control with PGX, you can make other positive changes in lifestyle and behaviour for healthy control of your weight.

I have to say that the changes have been slow; however, adapting hasn’t been an impossible thing to do.  PGX has no flavour and, therefore, quite an easy product to take!

  1. I had completely forgotten about your PGX journey until I saw your contest post, and then I remembered we started taking PGX at the same time…I have to admit, I fell off the wagon, and really, I have to get back on that wagon for health reasons. I’ve been reading all your posts on PGX, on to the next…
