I received my OXY sample box on May 30th, and that very same night my daughter started using it. That was the whole reason for applying for the opportunity to review this product; you see my daughter, a young teen, is starting to get a few blemishes on her nose … “Ew!!!”; as she says!
What a perfect opportunity for a before and after scenario! What better way to record this, other than pictures? It’s not like my daughter is thrilled to have close up pictures, of her blemishes, on the internet, so I promised to restrict the ‘picture area’ to just the area affected … her nose.
My daughter’s first attempt, at her new facial care regime, was interesting … she swore that, after her face washing, she could taste the product, and that it ‘burned’ her skin. Perhaps her skin might be a little on the sensitive side. I tried all the products and didn’t feel any ‘burning’ sensation at all. In fact, for a product that’s geared towards helping acne, I feel it to be mild. It doesn’t dry the skin, and leaves it feeling fresh and clean. After a few days of using all the products, everyday, my 14 year old daughter says she still gets a sensation that she can “taste” the product, but that it no longer burns on her skin as much. Maybe her skin is getting used to the product? Who knows?! I’m starting to think that her skin might be a little sensitive so (maybe, just maybe) the products might be better suited for normal or combination skin. My daughter might be better off with product geared towards sensitive skin.
Here are the before and after pictures of my daughter’s nose:
(1st pic taken May 30th, 2nd pic taken June 6th … she used all the products every day)

I could never use Oxy. Their stuff is so strong is almost feels like my face is burning. I only use Neutrogena, Dove and Garnier. Nice to see the results on your baby. It looks like it works for her.
