THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED
My Bits and Bleeps’ readers should be very aware of my attempts at getting organized! Having been offered the chance to review the 2011-2012 momAgenda Desktop recently, I hungrily accepted. I had heard of momAgenda many times; however, never really had the opportunity to inspect the product for myself.
Currently the colours available in the Desktop are Fuchsia, Turquoise, Soft Gold, and Zebra.
As with many great inventions, the momAgenda was created to simplify the life of its founder – and caught on like wildfire. Nina Restieri, a former successful ad executive, and businesswoman at the helm of a family business, was attempting to organize her chaotic schedule (and those of her family of four young children) one morning when she started to think about wedding planners. Why, she wondered, are there hundreds of options for brides to choose from to plan their wedding, but not a single option for mothers to plan their everyday lives? One year of extensive research later, momAgenda was born. The first run of products sold out within three days to 120 stores. At that moment, Nina knew she had struck a chord with women all over the country who had the same desire to bring some order to their hectic lives.
Since its inception in 2005, momAgenda has grown annually to include a diversified range of products that help organize the lives of mothers and others, including day planners (myAgenda, mom Agenda and Personal Portfolio) home organizers (Kitchen Folio, School Years, Wall Calendar) and helpful pads (Weekly Menu/Grocery Pad, Permission Slip, Honey Do List and Babysitter Info). The collection is sold at leading national retailers and regional boutiques throughout the US.
… I couldn’t resist be tempted by the fun Zebra print! It’s a solid, firm agenda that is set up in a really fabulous way! The attached “momEssentials” keeps all that you need quite handy: addresses, important numbers, medical information, birthdays, and anniversaries too! You can remove this ‘booklet’ from the agenda and keep it seperately (if you wish).
[for all who know me personally, you can't use this against me! I can still be forgetful even if I have it written in front of me!!]
The 2011-2012 momAgenda Desktop is really two agendas in one: there’s a full-month-at-a-glance agenda portion that has space to write what is scheduled for each day (similar to a wall calander), and it has a special second agenda towards the back.
I particularly love the momAgenda portion towards the back … it is set up perfectly! The top portion is my week’s view, and below it there is space for 4 seperate kids! Since I don’t have 4 kids, I’ve used one section for my daughter, one for my spouse, and one for my “blog”. What a perfect way to keep track of everyone’s schedule! I have never seen this in any other agenda. It totally helps that this momAgenda looks absolutely fabulous too! I LOVE the zebra stripes!! Don’t you? I look totally ‘stylish’ when I take my momAgenda to the doctor’s office with me … and I can be totally organized!
You can also keep tabs on: parties (the ones you are planning), entertaining resources, gift (received/given) record … and even lists like: fitness, health, wines, restaurants, fashion, music, books, movies, plans for the following year, and several blank pages too.
The interior pages are beautiful pastel colours: pink, lilac, mint green, and baby blue. This is a huge leap from the boring, plain white pages with black ink lettering.
I even love that it has TWO attached pink ribbon book marks … I use one to mark the “family schedule” and one to mark the “full month schedule”. I’ve always complained to my partner about never being on top of who is doing what and when!! It was so frustrating! Now, I feel like I can have a grasp on things! It seems like I’ve become neater, cleaner, and more organized … I’m keeping it together !!!
