Today’s SocialMoms blogging prompt was created by our team member Sasha Afanasieff.
What is one item you couldn’t live without for more than a week and why?
(For example, car, TV, cell phone, makeup, elliptical machine, internet, Facebook, etc.)
One item that I could not live without for more than a week would be the internet! The internet is where I feel connected, and where I can exercise my creativity. I love being able to meet new acquaintances through Social Media, and to transform those acquaintances to friendships (even friendships with strong bonds). There are certain people who I look forward to chatting with ever day on Twitter….and there are certain people who I hope will comment on My Bits and Bleeps posts. Why? Because I value their opinion, and I value their input, and I can learn from what they say.
All this makes me a stronger person….a more informed person….a person that can change, and learn from her mistakes!
If I didn’t have access to the internet, I think I would miss their presence. Similar to what I feel when I don’t see them on Twitter, or on my Blog!! It just wouldn’t be the same. I mean, I could LIVE without the internet! ….But, I would feel at a loss until I could get onto the internet again!
